    1. By this time, trainees should be thoroughly familiar with the texts now listed in the Recommended reading section. Additionally, supervisors will specify texts / documents and related resources specific to the specialist / elective placement's focus and trainees will be required to ensure that they familiarise themselves with such materials. Additionally, trainees can discuss essential resources with their personal tutors and peers in the context of the clinical seminars.
