  1. This is a difficult course to recommend a text for because of the variety of methods textbooks on the market. Make sure you look at several in the library before you purchase any. Several are also available as ebooks so purchase is not essential.

    7. The two following books deal with quantitative data and anlaysis in different ways. Fowler et al. deal directly with health research which you may find useful. Field takes a very unique approach to explaining statistics but I have found it incredibly helpful so you may wish to check it out.
